Leaked Video for the New BlackBerry Storm 3 (Monaco)

The new BlackBerry Storm 3 (Monaco) looks awesome in the leaked video. It’s said to be available on Verizon, however, the new BlackBerry Monaco has not been officially announced, maybe RIM is working on making the user experience much better. BlackBerry Messenger v5.0.2.11 Now Available in BlackBerry Beta Zone

The latest version 5.0.2.11 of BlackBerry Messenger is not available for download in the BlackBerry Beta Zone. It seems that there aren’t any big improvements in this new beta version, and if you like, you can have a try.

Here are some fixes included in this new release:

  • If you are running BlackBerry® 6.0, a cursor might not have appeared when you scrolled through previous messages in a chat.
  • If you turned on content protection, when you received a new message, you might have seen a “Content protection is enabled” message.
  • If a person invites you to become a contact during a multi-person chat with you, and if you accepted the request, the contact might not have appeared on your contact list.

BlackBerry News Feeds v1.01 Now Available in BlackBerry Beta Zone

BB New Feeds As all we know, BlackBerry News Feeds App is a cool RSS reader for BlackBerry users. Now, it has been updated to version 1.01 in BlackBerry Beta Zone. The latest updates include:

  • Ability to delete all prior articles when viewing a feed or viewing “All Unread Items”.
  • Ability to mark the list of items as read when viewing a feed or viewing “All Unread Items”.
  • If you swipe left or right in a feed, the screen now moves to the previous or next item in the feed.
  • Ability to zoom in on images and text in feed items.
  • New message, wireless network, and battery (while charging) indicators appear in the app’s header.

Foursquare for BlackBerry Alpha Maintenance Release Now Available for Download

foursquare_logo_boy Foursquare Team has released an Alpha maintenance update with fixing some of issues reported by Foursquare users. According to Foursquare Team, an official release will be made available once resolutions are confirmed.

Here are some fixes included in this alpha release:

  • Resolution of screen lock up issue after login on some devices
  • Resolution of checkin results lock up issue on some devices
  • Resolution of “send to twitter/facebook” not showing
  • UI fix with viewing photos on a smaller device
  • Landscape/Portrait rotational fix on some touch devices
