Facebook For BlackBerry Has Updated TO V2.0

Facebook for BlackBerry has updated v2.0. This is a beloved application with much fun and novelty. It now includes BBM integration.


Apart from including BlackBerry device software v.5.0 support, the app integrates several new-fangled features and performance improvements.

The app provides users with the ability to view Mutual Friends and Friends List via the Info tab on Profiles. It is now even more deeply integrated with other native BlackBerry smartphone apps. People will be able to click on phone numbers, PINs and e-mail addresses showcased on Wall posts and messages on the Info tab to either make calls or save the information to the BlackBerry Contacts application.

The other performance improvements to Facebook for BlackBerry v2.0 include enhanced Facebook Chat connection and better online contacts list loading time. Additionally, the cursor no longer disappears when scrolling through the News Feed. To keep users updated, the app constantly displays chat message delivery notifications.

Maybe you have heard something about the new leaked BlackBerry Torch 9810 Device Simulator. It’s been a short while online since we saw a new BlackBerry Torch 9810. Recently there are no many places and words to describe this new leaked, so for the time being we haven’t know what improvements does this BlackBerry device have. We would like to remind you this is just a leaked and is not a approved official version from RIM. It’s unclear when the highly leaked BlackBerry Torch 9810 will be announced by RIM, but that doesn’t mean we can’t start playing around with this second generation BlackBerry Torch. CrackBerry has just posted up an updated version of the Torch 9810 device simulator. This latest download lets you take a peak at RIM’S upcoming BlackBerry 7 OS update and is designed for developers to test their apps. If you want to learn what is a Community Manager? I think from the following story, you will be suddenly enlightened.Perhaps there are many people have read the story of this person who named Mitchell S. After reading Mitchell story. I would like to share this story with more people.

Mitchell has a day life of working as one member of Social Media team at Research In Motion® (RIM®). As we all know, the Social Media team at Research In Motion® (RIM®) is always working diligently to provide you people with latest information about new products, upcoming events, and maybe the most important thing: giveaways!

His favorite thing is to see pictures fans submit that they have taken on a BlackBerry device.

Regarding a daily routine, Mitchell S usually starts a day by do a nice amazing tiny at the gym which is located in right across the street from his office building. After that, he often heads to his wonderful cubicle with an assortment of personalized items – one of which is a big tub of protein powder. People will know this possibly has no surprise.

Every the day, at the first hours in the morning, Mitchell S often gives a glance at such interpersonal mass media channels as Facebook,Twitter. Because he wants to find the eyesight from this interpersonal mass media channels and creates possibilities to communicate with BlackBerry Team. You maybe do not believe it that he often makes an effort to preserve a pulse concerning the neighborhood by identifying subjects of interest, ensuring that individuals are getting assisted by their near friends at BlackBerryHelp.

FlipSilent for BlackBerry

It is announced that the FilpSilent has released online for BlackBerry with OS 4.7 or higher: Torch, StormI, StormII.



The new features mainly include the following 5 points:

1. Flipping the phone to silent;

2. Silence the phone & messages with elegance, i.e. in a meeting or an important silent site;

3. Working well and perfectly after reboot;

4. Silences all incoming calls and messages;

5. Flipping the phone back to deactivate FlipSilent


How does it work?

After activation of FilpSilent, it will be waiting for the incoming calls and messages. Once someone calls you, FilpSilent is waiting for the action. The call will stay silent until you flip it back!

According to my notice, one of the things besides more customization was BlackBerry necklace was gone and there seems to be more background colors.

YouMail Visual Voicemail Plus App for BlackBerry Smartphones Updated!

00 A new version of YouMail Visual Voicemail Plus App for BlackBerry smartphones has been released, now it stays at version 2.3.4, and is available for free download in BlackBerry App World. The update now allows users to access some website content right from the BlackBerry.

New features added into the updated version are: 

  • In-App community Greetings – Customers can easily browse, search. With a few clicks, YouMail users can let people know they’re in a meeting or on a plane during the day, while turning on humorous greetings (including “Rickrolling”) for friends and family at night.
  • Number Search – YouMail has also added one-click search within its BlackBerry application. YouMail users now need only choose the “Caller Search” menu option to search for more info on the caller’s phone number.

I have tried the upgraded version, it really brings me much convenience and enjoyment! It is a pretty helpful voicemail application for every BlackBerry user.

Facebook for the BlackBerry PlayBook Updated Version 1.0.4 Now Available in BlackBerry App World!

FACEBOOK_PLAYBOOK The new version 1.0.4 of Facebook for the BlackBerry PlayBook is now available with some new features:

  • Video Uploading – Shoot a video and upload it on the spot, or select an existing video from the PlayBook tablet’s media library and upload it to Facebook.
  • Facebook Search Enhancements – Enhancement on search features, which now allows for easier finding of friends and Facebook Page using the Pages Search.
  • Improved Access to Pages - New Pages tab accessible from Friends List to view My Pages and Pages You Like.
  • Message Deletion – Delete a Facebook message by simply pressing and holding the screen until a delete button appears, and then to permanently delete the message from your Facebook account.
  • Photo Upload Album Selection – Organization of your Facebook albums just got easier by simply selecting the album that you would like to upload the photo to.
  • News Feed Improvements – Interact with your News Feeds via the More button to Like or Comment on posts without having to leave the News Feed view.
  • Options Help Center – Options icon removed from the Notification bar, now accessible by swiping down from the top frame PlayBook tablet screen to reveal these options, along with the Help Center and Log Out buttons.

BlackBerry PlayBook OS Updated To Version With Several New Features

Luckily, RIM has announced that BlackBerry PlayBook OS v1.0.5.2304 now is available. This update brings several new features and performance enhancements to the BlackBerry PlayBook:

  • Facebook for BlackBerry PlayBook – The first Facebook app optimized for tablets now comes preloaded and introduces new features including video uploading, message deletion, Facebook search enhancements and more
  • In-App Payments Support – Enables developers to create apps for the BlackBerry PlayBook using the BlackBerry Payment Service, which will allow users to purchase enhancements within apps such as another level in a game or a new edition of a magazine
  • Additional Language Support — Updates language support to include: French, Italian, German, Spanish, Dutch and UK English
  • BlackBerry PlayBook Charging Enhancements – By simply touching the battery indicator on the BlackBerry PlayBook home screen, users can easily adjust the screen brightness or choose to restart, turn off, or put the tablet into standby mode.  Other charging improvements include the ability to charge the PlayBook while it is turned off, as well as an on-screen alert to notify users if they accidentally have plugged in an incorrect charger into their BlackBerry PlayBook
  • Video Chat Connectivity – Adds support for the TURN (Traversal Using Relay NAT) protocol, which enhances Video Chat connections between users on home, public and enterprise Wi-Fi networks
  • Wi-Fi Hotspot Detection – Automatic Wi-Fi hotspot detection in the BlackBerry Tablet OS v1.0.5 makes it easier to connect to a Wi-Fi hotspot (at a coffee shop or an airport, for example)
