ING Direct has released a free app for Canadians that allows access to accounts on the go. With the application, you can check account balances, view transactions, transfer funds, locate ABMs and more. ING Direct lets you have access to all of the important features on your account, and you can access them right from your BlackBerry when you’re on the go. The application is currently only available in Canada, and it looks like most newer devices are supported. You can download OTA via m.ingdirect.ca.

Free Talk to Text App from Microsoft and Yap on Sprint

Talk-to-Text is a free app that lets you talk your emails and SMS rather than type them. The application was developed by Microsoft using Yap’s speech recognition service and is available to all Blackberry users on the Sprint network. While I haven’t personally tried it, I have tried other apps with Yap’s speech recognition technology. Yap does a good job of translating speech to text and this app is worth a download if you drive a lot.

Network Details screen provides all available information for the network and cell site.
