How to Retrieve Voice Mails From Blackberry 8800

March 15th, 2010

If you miss a call on your BlackBerry 8800 phone, you need to view who the call was from and check if the person left you a voicemail. BlackBerry smartphones make recognizing you have a voicemail easy with an alert and an icon on the homescreen, and since the 8800 is part of Cingular (now AT&T), it has a fast retrieval system so you can quickly listen to your messages.

Step 1: View the homescreen of your phone. If there is a cassette tape icon at the top of the screen it means you have a new voicemail.

Step 2: Press and hold the "1" button on the phone.

Step 3: Enter the password you created when you initially set up your voicemail.

Step 4: Listen to your new voicemail messages.
