According to PocketNow, BlackBerry Bold 9900 has received the WiFi Alliance Certification, confirming the dual-band 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz. It seems that things are getting one step closer to the release of the Bold 9900. It’s rumored that the Bold Touch 9900 will be the only new device to be announced at the upcoming BlackBerry World conference in May. Let’s wait for its official release!
Thanks for the effort of BGR Team, now we get some hands-on photos of the upcoming BlackBerry full touch-screen device, with codenames Monaco and Monza. According to BGR, both names are codenames that signify different Carriers the phone will land on, Verizon Wireless will get the Monaco while the BlackBerry Monza is the global GSM version. This new device most likely will not be a member of the Storm family, it may launch as the BlackBerry Touch, and it will run BlackBerry OS 6.1. It seems that users have to sign up with a BlackBerry ID to login to the system.
Advised by BGR, RIM is also planning to announce the BlackBerry Bold Touch, BlackBerry Curve Touch, BlackBerry Torch 2 and BlackBerry Touch (Monaco / Monza) at BlackBerry World Conference in May.
